Admission Procedure :
Ganjam College, Ganjam is one of the SAMS resource centers as notified by the DHE. A separate cell is functioning in the college for the purpose.
Nearby colleges of Ganjam block are tagged in to this college for the purpose of On-Line admission.
An eligible student can take admission in to +2 / +3 class only through the E-Admission Procedure. The admission process which is carried out
through internet and computers is called as E-Admission. The whole process of admission is carrired out centrally through SAMS
(Student Academic Management System). The objective of SAMS is to ensure single window system for admission through e-admission, make admission
process economical, transparent and to keep the academic data as well as profile of each enrolled student.
An eligible applicant has to apply On-Line for admission through the common application form (CAF) only. The On-Line application form is available
in the DHE, Odisha Portal. The web address for such application and other related information is the www.dheorissa.in . The applicant has to fill
the application on-line very carefully and take a print out of computer generated application form (College copy and Applicant Copy) in a
standard A4 size paper. Then the applicant has to submit the application along with other documents relevant for the purpose, at the nearest
SAMS Resource Center i.e a college having facility to receive such application forms as notified by the DHE. On receving the application the
college authority would keep the college copy of the application form along with other documents and return the applicant copy mentioning on it
the Money Receipt cum Index Number(MRIN).
All the admission shall be as per the common prospectus and admission schedule as well as admission guidelines issued by the Govt. of Odisha from
time to time which can be downloaded by the candidate by login to the website of Higher Education Department, Odisha
(www.dheorissa.in). Applicants are advised to read carefully the prospectus before filling up the CAF or the
common application form.
Eligibilty for Admission :
The minimum eligibility for admission to +3 classes is pass in HSC examination of CHSE, odisha or its equivalent examination as listed and for
+2 admission pass in the B.S.E (O) or any other examination equivalent to B.S.E (O) as enlisted in the Annexure-3 of CPA student passing +2 Science
can apply all the streams at +3 level. A student passing +2 Arts or +2 Commerce can apply either for +3 Arts or +3 Commerce stream. A student
wishes to apply for CBZ in +3 Science stream should have Biology at +2 level.
Intimation Procedure:
Intimation shall be sent to the selected candidates in different modes outlined in the following table during the various states of admission.
There is NO POSTAL INTIMATION of any kind.

Verification of Documents for Admission:
The selected candidates after receiving the intimation shall have to attend before the admission committee along with their original documents
& fees as per the intimation letter.
Admission into +2 second Year Course:
All the +2 1st year students those who are sentup in the Annual promotion Test Exam are to take admission into +2 second year course on or before
31st July of each academic session.
Admission into +3 second & +3 third Yr. Course
A student is eligible to take admission into +3 second / +3 third year if he/she has registered for 1st / 2nd University Exam within two weeks of
reopening of the college provided that students may take admission to the second or third year, as the case may be with in a period as notified
on payment of Rs. 100 late admission fees.
In case of admission of students on transfer from other colleges even against GSOT quota the minimum eligibility criteria should be fulfilled.
A student failing to fulfill the above criteria cannot be alloted a seat even if he/she is reading the honours course in his/her previous
college.
+2 and +3 first year classes commence from the date as per notification of Goverment. After the completion of admission and 2nd year of +2 & +3
third year classes will commence from 23 of June 2015.
Documents other than the mark-sheets and certificates to be produced by the candidate:
In case a candidate claims to be son/daughter of a Burma repartiate, a certificate to that effect from the competent
authority “District Collector or his nominee”.
No objection certificate in original from the employer in case the applicant is employed.
Money receipt in support of the submission of the application form.
An attested xerox copy of recent certificate from Chief District Medical Officer in case of Orthopedically/
Physically handicapped candidate mentioning that the Handicap is a major one and deserves special consideration.
Odia students living in neighbouring states desirous of taking admission against the prescribed quota must submit
the following alongwith the application
(a) A copy of nativity certificate (not resident certificate)
(b) An affidavit in the prescribed form given at the end of this Booklet sworn in their respective local court of the native state, before the
last date of submission of application form stating that he/she is an odia by birth and a native of the respective neighbouring state.
(c) A documentary evidences to the effect that they studied in respect nieghbouring state with odia as a subject in the qualifying examination.
“If odia was not a subject in the qualifying examination such candidate must have passed at least the HSC examination with odia as MIL and
should also enclose the HSC certificate to the application”.
A candidate claiming admission against Ex-service men quota must make necessary entry in the admission application form
and must encolse the copy of the Ex-army certificate issued by either the District or the State Sainik Board.
4 copies of recent Passport size colour photographs.

Suppression of facts or submission of incorrect information by the applicant, if detected at the time of admission or subsequently shall render
the selection / admission invalid.
